What does the title mean?
From time to time, on Channel 4, there are little stings (I think you call it) for something called trylifeinanotherlanguage.com. Aimed at school kids, I believe, to get them to try different languages in school or something. But, nevermind. The video above is one of them and the song is so beautiful. No idea what it is about, it is in Spanish. And clearly, Spanish is one of the languages I haven't tried. ;-) But, beautiful it is, and so is the video itself. To her the whole song, go to Nubla's myspace page and click the 'Nada Se Olvida' in the player on the right.Labels: lovely things, music

The Piano
Just stumbled upon this and I feel compelled to share it with you. It is a lovely way to start the day. Beautiful music.

Mail that makes me happy
I'm sorry that this picture doesn't do this any kind of justice. It came in the mail the other day, completely unexpectedly! It is a beautifully stitched (machine, I think?) piece made by the lovely, lovely Julia. I really can't thank her enough. At the moment, something sweet in the mail, like this, absolutely makes my day. After I had picked it up at the post office, I stood outside ripping off the paper to see what was inside, because I wasn't expecting anything from anyone! I think I actually whooped when I saw what it was!
Thank you, Julia, you're a star!Labels: lovely things, mail
