We're back!
We've seen a loooot of veeeeery old stuff in the last few days. But we're pretty tired, so telling you all about it has to wait. Of course, we brought our 'kids' Mr Zmeggy and Løvemand (Mr Lion) with us. Here they are posing in front of Stonehenge. Løvemand is wearing an eye patch because his eye was chewed off by my family's dog years ago. Poor thing. ;-)
This cake is the culmination of a birthday celebration which was under way for some seven months! Tony is 30 on Sunday, but his family will be away, so we celebrated it last Saturday, so my parents were here too. I've had sooo many secrets with Tony's mum & dad to make this all come together to surprise Tony. But it was ALL worth it! He suspected nothing, so he really, really was surprised when he walked in and there was a bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins.
And the Doctor Who cake which I baked, then his parents came and picked it up so Tony wouldn't know. The icing topper (with the image) I ordered off eBay and it arrived just in time. Phew! I'd never heard of such a thing before. Pretty cool, I think!
