The magic flow

Since I started using acrylic paint again earlier this year I have really got back into painting. Which makes me all colours of happy.

The thing that makes me most happy about painting is how you can make something appear out of nothing. Nevermind what you are actually painting. You combine colours in a way that makes a person appear, or a dog or a sofa. It's like magic. To me, anyway.

Of course, the more I do it, the better I get at capturing exactly what is in my head. Although, I think it as really, really important to not force it. If you do that, there will be tears. You can't force creativity. You can gently nudge it, but other than that, just go with the flow and it will take you to places you never even knew existed.
