Red harvest

Well, will you look at that! It's the first 'harvest' from my tomato plant. Isn't it just perfect? Such excitement over such a small thing. And the things you learn; like, a tomato plant actually smells like tomatos. It's like magic.

We are so far removed from things that grow and how that happens, because we can just go to the supermarket and buy them. All year round. It's unnatural!

I am thinking next year I want a pepper plant too.
