Blue bag
I love doing custom orders and this bag is the latest one. I had pretty much free reign, which made it even better! ;-)
It is like my own bag I made a little while ago. It is just the perfect size for a book (sketchbook in my case) and some other bits and pieces. The fabric is all from IKEA, both the outside and the lining. The lining is that happy orange birdie print which I used in a bag for my sister.
I like making bags; picking out the colours and such. But what I really like is the construction part: figuring out how to make it (in as few separate pieces as possible, preferably!). What can I say, I like my crafting to also engage the logic (?) part of my brain. ;-)
My dear customer likes her bag, as do I, hooray! :-)Labels: bags
