Sunday ride

So... I almost forgot to tell you about Tony's bike ride! Here he is, just coming up to the finish. He did the 54 miles / 90 kilometres in about 3 hours and 40 minutes. Which is pretty darn good, I reckon. His goal was to get in under 4 hours and I daresay he did that with time to spare. ;-)

A few metres behind where I was standing the path takes a fairly sharp left turn in the exact spot where it crosses a small stream and on more than one occasion riders were surprised by this. One of them was very close to falling face first into the stream, but did manage to stay on dry land. Kinda dangerous for the riders, considering the speed some of them came the path - there really should have been signs warning them!
