My heart belongs to Italy - please help

I think you know that I love Italy. If you didn't, well, I do. It is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. It is a place that means a lot to me for countless reasons.

You must have heard of the earthquake that happened in the region of Abruzzo last week. Not only have hundreds of people died and been injured. But almost 30,000 people are now homeless. Either because their homes crumbled in the earthquake, or because it is still not safe to go back to their homes.

That is a lot of people. And the majority of them live in tents in conditions that are not ideal. In his wisdom, Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi likened their situation "a weekend of camping."

Well, I find that really, really...not cool. I do not have the means of Madonna, but maybe you can help me make a little bit of difference? Starting today, Friday April 10 and the next 2 weeks, 50% of the proceeds from all sales in my shops will be passed on to the Italian Red Cross.

I really hope that you will help me and spare what you can to help people who are in need at this time. In my shops you can find pretty things at just a few pounds/dollars and pretty things that cost a bit more.

You can find my shops here: Artfire and Etsy. If you write 'I love pizza' in the message to seller, I will send you an exclusive embroidery pattern because you are awesome.

Thank you. :-)
