Is lunch a boring topic?
My lunch. Leftovers from dinner last night. It's a hearty combo of onions, carrots and potatoes with a bit of fresh ginger, a couple of gloves of garlic, one chilli, juice of half a lime and a couple of handfuls of goji berries. Served with couscous and a generous dollop of sour cream. Quite nice. But if it is to have any effect on my cold (which was the intention), I think I would have to increase the amount of ginger, chilli and garlic. Just so I would be completely impossible to sleep next to! ;-)
Taken with the camera on my new phone. Which I am quite pleased with. Now that I finally have it! I ordered it at the end of January as part of an upgrade type thing from my soon-to-be former mobile provider (Orange), but after 2 weeks we'd heard nothing from them. A couple more days passed and then we contacted them and apparently they needed the 3 digit security code from the credit card (isn't that weird when you are already a customer?!) - why they hadn't contacted us about this, is a mystery to me (us) and seems like rather poor customer service. Then, nothing happened for several more days, a week perhaps. So we got in touch with them again and now it turned out that the phone was out of stock. What the f***?
So last Thursday we went to the Three shop at the local shopping centre. They did have it in stock, but I didn't have any ID with me, so they couldn't let me have it then and there (fair enough, it is a fairly new phone and with good specs and stuff). But on Saturday morning a postman delivered my new phone. In less than 2 days! I've not had problems with Orange before, but to be honest, the only reason I was with Orange was so we could get 2 for 1 cinema tickets. But we go to the cinema so rarely that it won't matter much.
Not sure why I told you all that, really. I guess I just wanted to have a little moan. Maybe I'm becoming English? ;-) Oh and, the new phone (which I got mainly for the onboard camera) is the Sony-Ericsson C905 in case you were wondering.
Right. I've got a green cake to bake!
