Mushrooms and penguins

A little while ago I had the idea to make a mushroom stamp and the other day I thought it might be fun to use it on some kraft paper for wrapping paper. So I made some today. Pretty cute if I do say so myself. :-)

The tag is cut from one of the Christmas cards we got last year. A nice bit of recycling, I think. Of course you have to remember to save the cards and remember where you put them. And I like the randomness of these tags. You've just got to make it work with the paper and ribbon you've got.

I don't get a lot of actual crafting done lately - I blame the lack of daylight! But I did manage to make this little pouch. I'm taking it on the flight for all those little things... Like my passport and purse. I hate having to leave them in my carry-on bag during the flight. But this pouch is so small that I can hide it next to me in the seat. We usually get the wing seats (because those have more leg-room and Tony's got long legs, ya know) and you're not allowed to keep your handbag with you.
