Hello world, I'm still here!
Just not getting a lot of stuff done; although I'm not quite sure why... But a few things are in various states of almost completion:
I gave up making the blanket with triangles. It was just bugging me too much that it wouldn't be the shape I wanted! So, for the last week or so, I've been working on a single large granny square. And I'm rather liking it! I really, really (REALLY!) love the colours - such a shame it's not for me! But I guess I can always make one for me.
Also, a good thing about just making one big square is that there will be no sewing the triangles together; which is a bloody good thing!
Another work in progress: a Clone Trooper tee for my friend Steven, which he will be wearing this weekend while participating in the Empire Magazine quiz at Celebration Europe. I've made a couple of tees for him before, but this is the first one I get to hand to him in person! I've known him for 5 years, but we've never met!
I'm also making a Star Wars themed tee for myself for Friday when we go to CE. Oh, I can't wait - so much Star Wars in one place!!Labels: wip
