I'm tagged
The very creative Luci (and yes, I am still doing the TAST challenge..) has tagged me to tell all the world seven things it didn't already know about me. And after I'm done telling, I have to tag seven people to do the same.
Ok, seven things... can't be that hard, eh?!
1. I always assume that people don't think the same way I do, and I'm always surprised to discover when they do. Related to this is my utter distaste for people who assume that others think exactly like them.
2. Stripes (sometimes) drive me crazy. For some reason I'm compelled to count them, but I never can because they always seem to vibrate.
3. I hate tabloid magazines. I would never buy one, or read one. If there is one in front of me, for example in the lunch room at work, I have to turn it over, so the cover faces down. They are a horrible waste of paper. And an insult to people's intelligence.
4. I think I've taken many a wrong turn in my life, most of them away from being a creative and creating person. And it's quite difficult to admit that and stare... failure square in the eye. But it is ok, 'cause if I hadn't, I wouldn't have met Tony, and in a roundabout way he's helped me and encouraged me to be that creative person again. To be me, I guess. I *heart* him.
5. I'm not particularly good at numbers (which is my reason for not becoming an astronomer!!), but I'm fascinated with interesting numbers. Like the Fibonacci numbers. It's everywhere in nature, I'm so diggin' that!
6. My 'favourite' question is "why?". I'm always wondering about this and that. Especially, now that I'm living in England, I'm asking Tony a LOT of "why?" questions - it drives him crazy, 'cause usually he has no answer other than "because that's the way it is" or "that's the way we've always done it". But living here has also made me look at the things I do, the things that 'comes with' being Danish.
7. Somewhat related to #1; when I was younger, I used to think a lot about what people thought about me, particularly what bad things they might be thinking. I assumed that most of it was bad, or that they simply didn't like me. Now, I simply don't care. Thank goodness for getting older and wiser!
Right, I don't know how interesting that was. But being old and wise (har-har), I don't care!
The following are tagged, but under no obligation to participate (and I'm sorry if you've already done this; I'm too old to remember if you have) :
