A year later...
Wow! I can't believe it's been a year since I made this little softie! Beelabel is her name. My very first one - and the start of all this crafting I've been doing.
And can you believe it?! She's completely hand sewn; I didn't even have a sewing machine when I made her. And I only had two colours of felt, so the eyes and "mouth" are embroidered. Of course, I didn't have any toy stuffing, so she's actually stuffed with cotton wool.
Still, she's perfect.
And boy, is she responsible for a lot of sewing, embroidering, hoarding(!) of fabric, a few sales of things I've made, and even my participation in a craft fair. But mostly, she's responsible for me being much more in contact with my creative, dare I say, spirit.
It's been a good year. Here's to more, even better!
