A new softie and she's (mostly) pink!
I've actually been making some new stuff this week. One of them is this softie, which I was going to give to T's little new niece (she's 3 days old and is called Amelia), but since I'm quite in love with it, I don't think I will. Also because I'm not completely sure that the parents will appreciate my home made softies the way they should be appreciated (and loved!). So I think I'm keeping this one and then I'll make another one...
I'm not sure how I got the idea to make the softie from patchwork, but I did and I like the way it turned out. Of course I had to take a picture of the patchwork piece before I cut it. Cause the colours are just so darn appealing to me. pink with some other colours. I love it. It's like looking at candy, only it's fabric! Yum!
I've been thinking that I might make a tutorial for this softie. Not that it's particularly difficult to suss out how it's made... ;-) Below are a couple of extra pictures of it.
