I don't think I've actually mentioned that on Sunday I got an early birthday present.

Something I would have sworn, not too long ago, that I would never own: a sewing machine.

Me. Who, despite being shown several times, never seemed to grasp how such a thing works. Apart from the actual sewing.

But I managed to thread the thing all by myself, and wind the bobbins (or whatever those things are called!!).

So now my creativity can take on a completely different direction. It is kinda scary and quite exhilarating at the same time!

And I think my mum is even more excited about the beast than I am!
