Ironic cake
So I was talking about procrastinating earlier and it is ironic, then, that I did that on a day where I actually managed to get an incredible (for me) amount of things done - how I love crossing things off my list!
And one of the things I got done, was baking this chocolate cake. It is quite yummy. Almost fat free, although it has a fair amount of sugar...
Anyway, this is the recipe:
2 eggs
½ cup of sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3/4 cup of flour
3 teaspoons bakingpowder
1 teasponn vanilla sugar
1/4 cup of milk
½ tablespoon olive oil
Mix cocoa, flour and baking powder.
Whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until it is fluffy - I can't explain it better than that... Carefully mix the two mixes together with milk and the olive oil.
Bake for about 25 mins. at 175°C (approx. 325°F).
I used orange juice instead of milk because I didn't have any vanilla sugar. You might want to use a wee bit more liquid than the recipe says, as it is a little bit dry...
And you could add some chopped walnuts or other nuts or some spices, or whatever! ;-)
Enjoy!
