The Rebel Billionaire

We've been watching the show on ITV for the past few weeks (we missed the first 2 or 3 episodes...) and it's quite interesting.

Sir Richard Branson tests the mettle of a group of young entrepreneurs on an epic journey around the world, as they re-live some of his own adventures. Those that impress Branson will continue, but each week, one candidate will be left behind as the rest jet off to the next adventure.

Now, I'm usually not one to become interested in reality shows in any way, in fact, I find them rather stupid and tacky. But there's something about this show, that intrigues me; maybe it's the Branson factor. Compared to what I've seen of the Apprentice, I certainly think Branson is a much nicer person than Trump.

And that is nice, seeing people being nice to other people. Even though he's one of the richest and most succesfull people in the world, Branson still has an open mind. He learns something from the contestants in the show; he's not all "I created this empire and you can't teach me anything".

Anyway, I digress. I was going to say how surprised I am at myself because I'm actually following this show, and felt a certain amount of glee when Nicole and Erica were "tarmac'ed". Ha! Which goes to show that I follow this so much that I actually know the names of the contestants!! :-o
