4th of the day! And it's about quilting of all things...

Many moons ago I made a quilt of old scraps of fabric. I was really proud of the result, which wasn't too crooked and it covered my bed for years. I've lost it now, though. Many years ago, in fact. It was a lengthy process, cutting all the squares, pinning them together, stitching it, and finally sewing (sowing??) it all together.

Especially because I'm not exactly a dab hand with a sowing (sewing??) machine. My mum can attest to that. She's usually at the receiving end of my frustration!! Sorry mum!

But despite the obstacles of quilting, I'm really fascinated by it. I like the crafty part of it and the end results are usually quite spectacular. So. I'm considering starting to quilt. Maybe. Problem is that I'll probably need a sowing (sewing??) machine, but I don't have one.

So I don't know. I imagine sitting in front of the telly doing quilting instead of sitting there with idle hands.

Gone crazy, that's what I have. Just plain crazy.
