Talk to the hand

Bombs, attempted bomb attacks, people getting shot on the tube. These are altogether scary facts of life now. My life too. And there is nothing one can do...

I get the feeling that the English, and Londoners in particular, are quite resilient; they wont let a few bombs destroy their way of life. They'll go on with their life almost as they always have.

I hope I can do the same. I don't want to feel afraid when I get on the tube or a bus. But I can't help but feel that maybe I wont be in any rush to go to London. And getting a job outside London doesn't seem like a bad idea at all.

That said, I have to tell myself this as well: I am not afraid. Being afraid accomplishes nothing. Vary, yes, but not afraid. Not ever.
