A delicious morse code for Google?

I feel like such a geek. I get excited because de.licio.us now has recommended tags. Less thinking for me!

Don't know what de.licio.us is?? It's an online bookmarks collection, where you tag your bookmarks and sort them that way. AND you can browse the booksmarks of other people with the same tag, like blogs or travel for example. Which is the reason why it's also called social bookmarks. Really handy, and your bookmarks are accessible from any computer with an internet connection. Here are my de.licio.us bookmarks.

It's quite interesting to look at the tags that the de.licio.us community uses: most of them have something to do, directly or indirectly, with the Internet or computing. That probably says a lot about the people who use de.licio.us, dunnit?

Something else the geek in me likes a lot, is that Google now is developing a portal style functionality {you need and ID and a pw to read the article: ireallyhatenyt3 and ireallyhatenyt respectively}. Like My Yahoo!, if you're familiar with that. It really makes sense to take this step for Google. They are the leading search engine, so why not do the portal thing? You can already use Google's other services, like Froogle, so why not put it all together on one handy page, which you can personalise??

Cause, really, people want to personalise things these days. They want to use the sites and servies on the 'net, but they want to make them their own too! So, of course, I had to go and set it up for myself, and here's what it looks like: click to view. {opens in new browser window}

So you think using your mobile phone to send messages is fast??

Ack, and here I just bought some of those and I felt like such a good person!
