Your very own IKEA house!

IKEA has started building houses! Sadly I've not been able to dig up some proper sites with a lot of info, but I did manage to find a few.

IKEA building houses in Norway (in Norwegian) and in Denmark (in Danish).

The houses are manufactured in Sweden, then shipped to the respective countries where they can be assembled, by Skanska, in just one day! However, it does take some 6 weeks to get it completely ready, electricity, sanitation etc. The houses are very popular, undoubtedly because they are quite cheap.

While searching for info about these IKEA houses, I came across this amusing assembly instruction for the houses. Certainly looks easier than the desk I bought last year!

Today I went to the dentist to have cavaties filled. The good news was that it turned out that, after having examined the x-rays more carefully, my dentist had decided that there was only one. So that saved me some money, although it still set me back quite a lot. Why must dentistry be so expensive in Denmark?? :-( The local anasthetic alone was 1/4 of the bill. :-o
