Paint and such

Been offered another flat, but I'm #8 on the waiting list for it. Still... *fingers crossed*

Yesterday I sat outside all afternoon, painting. I swear, my easel is probably my most prized possession. :-)
It was a lovely sunny day, and a very happy one. How can you be glum when you're outside in the sun, wearing a silly red hat, doing one of the things you love the most?? ;-)

Today, however, a biiiig thunderstorm broke loose in the morning. Everything went dark and the thunder started rolling, ligthening flared and the was absolutely pouring! I love nature. :-)

So, yesterday when I was riding on the bus, it suddenly occured to me that I'm glad I'm not 20 or something anymore. When I was that age, I had no clue about who I was and what was important to me. Now I know myself so much better and I know that.. I don't know anything at all. And it's all good, cos the less we think we know it all, the less we take things for granted. I guess one of the best things about getting older is that I take myself far less serious and I don't really care what other people think of me...
