It's snowing! YAY! But sadly, it seems like it isn't cold enough for it to stay.. Although, at the moment it seems to be covering the ground nicely.. Oh well.

I watched a very moving film last night, Goodbye, Mr. Chips. Martin Clunes (of Men Behaving Badly fame) plays the leading character of Mr. Chipping, a Latin teacher at an English public school, is a passionate teacher who does not tolerate bullying or prejudice. He is particularly supportive of those pupils on scholarships, knows each boy by name and is, in turn, respected by them. It follows Chips, as he is called, from the 1880's until the 1920's when he dies as the headmaster of the school. Ahhh, anyone should see this gem if they have the opportunity. Martin Clunes is absolutely fantastic.

I think I've said it before, but I love Scotland, and I particularly love Edinburgh. Even more so now, when I've discovered there's a Wardie Square. Not very glamorous looking, but it's there, non? ;-) There's a Wardie Crescent and Wardie Steps as well... Hehe!

Do you know where LEGO comes from? Wouldn't you like to know? It's very well done. Not the LEGO I mean. Well, they are well done too, despite the fact that they've lost money in the last year.... Oh will you just go look at the damn thing! - and go buy some LEGO! But only till you've seen this thing! Go. Now!

There was a period of time when I seemed to do nothing but sit at the computer. Not so anymore. Sometimes I don't really want to be at the computer, but I am anyway, cos that's the cheapest way to talk to T. Why does it have to be so darn expensive to call each other???
But it seemed like it was somewhat of an addiction. And that certainly wasn't good, so I'm glad I can now be away from the computer, basically for days, and I'm doing just fine. And really, it's just a..a thing that can bring words and images to you... and yes, you can develop some kind of friendship with people, via the computer, with people you have never met. But it's no substitute for the real thing. Atleast it shouldn't be. If I've been at the computer too much during a day..I try to ask myself: what did I get from that? How did all those hours improve my life? - If I can't answer that in a proper way, then.. I've wasted time, instead of invested it..
And that's when you know that you need to get out more.
So if you'll excuse me, I'll go do something else now.
