I'm pissed off! For some reason my archives refuse to appear in the right place, although I've tried anything imaginable to make it work. I'm all out of ideas.. and just about to give up. What to do? Ben, where are you when I need your help*??! :-)

My neck hurts. Been in front of the computer too much the past couple of days. Oh well, at least I've now got all my bookmarks neat and tidy. Watch me glow in the light of that accomplishment. :-p

Good news for the Irvingophile (that's John Irving, to you infidels!). A new movie, Door in the Floor, based on Widow for one Year is in production. I like this book, in my humble opinion, it's one of his best. So I'm looking forward to seeing this on celluloid in a theatre near me.

I was watching this show tonight, called "Bridezillas". It's about these (NYC) women planning their weddings and spending ridiculous/obscene amounts of money on "the perfect wedding". How about spending $100 000 on a wedding? You can buy a house with that kind of money. Or a couple of cars. Travel around the world a few times, if you are not too high maintenance. I just don't get this kind of behaviour. That's the women. They make the decisons, it's their day. Their husbands (to be) have virtually no say in the whole planning. I just ..don't get it. Spending all this money, but they barely get to make any of the decisions. Is a huge (perfect) synonymous with a perfect marriage? I think not. So why go through all that stress and spend all that money on one day??

Those men, they should just put their foot down and stop this folly. Oh well. Women tend to want to control everything. And change their partner so he becomes perfect. Now why is that? Can't we look at our man and think "that guy's not perfect, but I like him the way he is. He's perfect for me". Why this need to change them? They don't try to change us. Do they?

I hope I respect who my sweetheart is and don't try to change him. I like him just the way he is. He's adorable. (cue the violins, hehe!)

Speaking of which... ;-)
